When I was getting this new blog up and running I contacted some friends about being on the mailing list. One of them was John Thompson and as a result I found a link to he and Nan’s blog and while poking around there, I came across some recipes.<\/p>\n

One of his offerings was Y Tuna Kasserole. With the exception of minor adjustments for personal preferences, it is almost exactly the same recipe we gave them many, many years ago that was called Tuna Diane.<\/p>\n

Tuna Diane<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Here is our recipe:<\/p>\n

TUNA DIANE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

5 oz, uncooked macaroni
\n1\/2 cup, mayonnaise or miracle whip
\n1\/2 cup, milk or dry white wine
\n1 can, cream of mushroom soup
\n1 cup, shredded cheese
\n1\/2 tsp, dry mustard
\n1\/2 tsp, dill weed
\n1 can, drained tuna
\n1\u00a0 can, black olives (2 1\/4 oz) drained
\nbuttered bread crumbs or crushed chips<\/p>\n

Add macaroni to sufficient boiling salted water and return to boil while stirring. Boil uncovered for 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse with hot water. Combine the mayo, milk, cheese, seasonings and olives. Stir in the macaroni and tuna. Pour into a greased 1 1\/2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with the crunchy toping. Bake 5 minutes more.<\/p>\n
