My family was the Braden’s and I believe your family were our neighbors on Merle Hay. I came across your blog when I was researching Riley Elementary School and enjoyed reading all the memories.
Butch, I found you (and Karen) on facebook which led me to your blogs. They are wonderful – what a talent you have. Some good times were had in the apartments above Wally’s pipe shop in Ames. I was very sorry to learn from your blogs that Jeff Kragskow has passed.
Joan and I retired from Lawrence, KS to Prescott, AZ in 2018 after I spent 37 years teaching engineering at the University of Kansas. We have two kids and six grands.
